Personal Data Administrator Information Clause

According to Article 13 of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as: "GDPR"), we would like to inform you that:

  1. the administrator of your personal data provided in the registration form is Fundacja Aleksandra Jabłońskiego (Alexander Jabłoński Foundation), address of the registered office: 5/7 Grudziądzka street, 87-100 Toruń, Poland, NIP (VATIN) PL 956 226 05 73 (further referred to as the „Foundation”),

  2. co administrator of your personal data within the meaning of art. 26 GDPR is Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, address of the registered office: 11 Gagarina street, 87-100 Toruń, Poland,

  3. the legal basis for the processing of personal data is article 6 paragraph 1 letter e of GDPR,

  4. the Foundation processes your personal data only for the purpose of performing the tasks and obligations resulting from the organization of the conference, among others;

    • identification of participants of the conference and implementation of the conference agenda;

    • preparation of conference materials (e.g., identity badges, certificates, book of abstracts);

    • settling the conference and handling billing and payment.

  5. the Administrator has appointed a data protection officer, e-mail contact: kontakt@faj.org.pl,

  6. the recipients of your personal data are authorized employees of the Administrator, or optionally entities processing data on behalf of the Administrator and entities authorized to obtain personal data pursuant to legal regulations,

  7. your personal data will be kept for the period necessary to complete the purpose of processing, including archiving,

  8. you have the right to request from the administrator access to your personal data, rectification, deletion or limitation of processing and the right to object to the processing, the right to data transfer,

  9. you have the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory body with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection in Poland, address of the registered office: 2 Stawki Street, 00-193 Warsaw, when you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the regulation indicated at the beginning,

  10. providing your personal data is voluntary, but failure to do so will prevent participation in the conference,

  11. it is not expected to process personal data for any other purpose than the purpose for which personal data were collected,

  12. your personal data shall not be processed by automated manner, in particular we will not apply profiling to them,

  13. your personal data shall not be shared with any third country/international organization, unless this is required due to legal obligations of the Administrator.
